There is a threat of strong to severe storms for the area. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible today and tonight, with isolated instances of hail to quarter-size. Meanwhile, the NWS says that additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected Friday night through Sunday, with the best chances for additional severe storms would be on Sunday.
