A 25 year old Sims, Illinois man has been charged with multiple drug-related Felonies in Fayette County Court.
Lake A. Bittles is facing a charge of Controlled Substance Trafficking, which is a Class 1 Felony. Information on the charge states the defendant allegedly brought 1.5 grams of fentanyl into the state. Bittles is also charged with Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance–being the fentanyl–which is also a Class 1 Felony. And, Bittles also faces a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is a Class 4 Felony.
Bittles has been appointed the public defender and was released from custody, but is subject to pre-trial release order, GPS monitoring, no drugs and alcohol and is subject to random drug testing. Bittles will next be in Fayette County Court with counsel on April 16th at 10 am.
