We will be sunny, windy and warm today.
We are looking at sunny skies with a high of 70. Winds out of the southwest will gust better than 20 miles per hour today. Tonight we’ll see mostly clear skies with a low of 45.
Meanwhile, severe storms will hit the area on Friday night. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of a cold front that will move through the area Friday evening. Some of the storms may become severe with the primary threat being damaging winds, with tornadoes and large hail also possible. The NWS says the exact time of the storms will become more certain in the next few days.
