Diana L. Rine, 63, of Vandalia, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 09, 2025 at her home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
Diana Lynn Joiner was born on March 16, 1961 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Winfred and Mary Marie (Morgan) Joiner. She married Donald Eugene Rine Sr. on October 03, 1980. Together, they had three children and celebrated nearly 40 years of marriage before his passing on August 13, 2020.
In her younger years, Diana worked in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant. As she and Don started their family, Diana became a stay-at-home mom, looking after their children. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her family and cherished every memory they made together.
She will forever be remembered by her son, Donald “Donnie” Rine Jr. of Vandalia; daughter, Dana and husband Jake Smith of Vandalia; daughter, Danielle Roberts of Kentucky; grandchildren, Brandon and Gracey Simmons, Dezsiree Pyle, Dawson and Destinee Rine, and James, Abby, Becca, Lizzy, Daniel, and Maylee Roberts.
Mrs. Rine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four brothers, Tom, Ron, Kenny, and Dave Joiner.
