Vandalia American Legion meets tonight, will honor their Police Officer and Deputy of the Year

The Vandalia American Legion Post 95 will hold a very special meeting tonight.

The Legion will meet at 6 pm at Vandalia City Hall tonight. They will be honoring Dustin Cade as their Police Officer of the Year and Brock Rich as their Deputy of the Year.

On the April 1st Consolidated Election ballot, Fayette County Voters will be asked whether or not they are in favor of a 1% sales tax increase for the next 35 years to help pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail.
