The Vandalia Vandals won 4 of their dual team matches to come away with the Abe’s Rumble Tournament Championship for the first time in school history. The Vandals got convincing wins over Chicago Hope 61-13, and Leroy 62-9, before getting two nailbiting wins over Coal City 30-28 in the semifinals–with Dominic Swyers getting a win when the Vandals were down by 1–and 35-27 over Marian Central Catholic in the Championship. As a team, the Vandals improve to 24-1 on the season. The Vandals will have two weeks off when they will compete in the Princeton Tournament
