(Lake Co., IL) — A Lake County judge is allowing prosecutors to present hours of police interrogation video of the Highland Park July 4th parade shooting suspect. The judge rejected a motion yesterday to ban the majority of the interview of Robert Crimo the third, whose defense argued that police violated his constitutional rights by not giving him certain information that may have prompted their client to stop talking. Crimo is accused of killing seven people and wounding dozens at the suburban Independence Day parade in 2022. He is scheduled to stand trial in February.
