Durbin Re-Elected As Senate Democratic Whip

(Washington, DC) — U.S. Senator Dick Durbin will remain the Senate Democratic Whip For 119th Congress. The Illinois Democrat was unanimously re-elected as the Senate’s second-highest ranking Democrat yesterday. Durbin has served in the number two role in the caucus since 2005.

Upon Further Review---Have your thoughts changed on the proposed 1% sales tax increase for a new courthouse and jail?

Back in January, we had a poll asking if you were or were not in favor of the proposed 1% sales tax increase to pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail.
