The annual FNB Community/Mulberry Grove Turkey Tournament opens play tonight with three games as the boys basketball season officially gets underway. The tournament will again feature eight teams split into two pools. In Pool A will be tournament newcomer Maryville Christian, host Mulberry Grove, Mt. Olive and St. Elmo-Brownstown. Pool B will feature Father McGivney, Ramsey, Lebanon and South Central. Ramsey and South Central will get pool play started at 5:15pm tonight with St. Elmo-Brownstown taking on Mt. Olive at 6:45pm. Host Mulberry Grove will wrap up the night taking on Maryville Christian at 8:15pm. The tournament will continue on Tuesday night with three more games, including Ramsey and South Central both in action again, and three more games on Wednesday night with all four teams playing again. The tournament takes a one day break on Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday before returning for the final three pool play games on Friday and then the four place games on Saturday. We will have the broadcasts of all games this week in which Mulberry Grove, South Central, Ramsey and St. Elmo-Brownstown play.
