911 Service Now Available To All 102 Illinois Counties

(Stark Co., IL) — 9-1-1 service is now available in all 102 counties in Illinois. Authorities made the announcement after Stark County entered into an agreement with Peoria County to create a Joint Emergency Telephone System Board so that Stark County residents and those traveling through the area can receive emergency services. Before this partnership, Stark County residents had to call a specific ten-digit number for emergency services.

Upon Further Review---Have your thoughts changed on the proposed 1% sales tax increase for a new courthouse and jail?

Back in January, we had a poll asking if you were or were not in favor of the proposed 1% sales tax increase to pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail.
