Severe Weather Threat late tonight/Tuesday morning

We have a severe weather threat for the area late tonight and Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service in St. Louis says while plenty remains uncertain, there is some concern for damaging wind a brief, weak tornado or two in northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois this evening into the overnight period.

Although the largest threat looks to be a bit to our north, we are still in the “marginal” area threat for severe storms tonight.
