Looking ahead, the National Weather Service in St. Louis says there is a potential for severe weather on Tuesday afternoon and night. The NWS says the threat for strong to severe thunderstorms increases Tuesday afternoon when a strong system enters the region. All hazards are possible, with the greatest threat for severe weather in northern and central Missouri.
