The Vandals blew a late lead but ended up getting a walk off, 6 to 5, win over Hillsboro at Vandalia Mutual Field on Tuesday.
Coming into the 7th inning, the Vandals had a 5 to 1 lead. Brady Elder retired the first man he faced in the 7th inning but then issued a one out walk. Elder came out and Andrew Kelly came in and hit a batter and issued a walk. Jack Lewis would then come in and Hillsboro would tie it with the help of an error and then a 2 out hit to send the game to the bottom of the 7th.
But, with Kohnor Depew on 1st and one out, Andrew Kelly delivered the big extra base hit to end it.
