Carl E. Carroll, 24, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 7:39PM, March 17, 2024 at SBL Fayette County Hospital ER.
Per the wishes of the family, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services held at this time. Interment will be held at a later date in Wilberton Cemetery, rural St. Peter, IL.

Carl Edward Carroll was born on September 21, 1999 in Greenville, IL, the son of Ronnie Edward Carroll & Reba Kay Rhodes. Carl was formerly employed by Pilot Travel Station in Vandalia and loved working on and riding both, ATV’s and motorcycles. He enjoyed the time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Ronnie Carroll and wife Ada; son, Axton Carroll; brothers, Robert Carroll, Dustin Carroll, Trevor Carroll & wife Ashley; sisters, Shalet Carroll, Heather Carroll, Desiree & husband Brandon Dunn; aunts, Karlene Carroll & husband Harold “Bud” Rhodes and Kathy Loy; uncles, Ricky Carrol & wife Lavena and Randy Carroll & wife Kim; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family & friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Christopher Carroll; paternal grandparents, Robert Ellis & Norma Maxine (Richards) Carroll.
