(Springfield, IL) — A Springfield man will bring home an Oscar. Brad Booker was an animator whose resume includes work on films such as “Iron Giant,” “Stuart Little” and “LOTR: The Two Towers.” Booker won on Sunday for Best Short Animated Film, “War is Over! Inspired by the Music of John & Yoko.” He said its message of peace must now be heard, more than ever.
