Vandalia Mayor updates on the search for an Economic Development Director.
Mayor Rick Gottman updated the Vandalia City Council on the search at last week’s meeting.
Mayor Gottman said that at least 2 of the candidates are from Illinois and one out of state candidate had also called and said they would be willing to relocate. Also, Mayor Gottman updating on some progress with the Veteran’s Memorial Park.
The Park will be located in the vacant lot across from City Hall. Mayor Gottman says the City Engineer is working on plans for the park.
