Dillan Elam threw a complete game shutout as Altamont gets the 4 to 0 win over South Central on Tuesday at Lion’s Field in Kinmundy in NTC baseball action. Altamont was able to pick up a single run in the top of the 3rd on an RBI double by Kaidyn Miller. They will add 2 more runs in the 3rd inning on an RBI hit from Eli Miller and an RBI double by Elam. Altamont would add their 4th run on an RBI hit by Ethan Robbins with 2 outs in the 5th inning. Elam would go the distance, facing just 3 over the minimum and issuing no walks in the game. Altamont has now won 8 in a row and they are 9-3 on the season. They will host Effingham St. Anthony today. South Central falls to 9-4 on the season. They are off until Friday when they travel to Neoga.
