The Altamont Lady Indians went 2-1-2 on Saturday to place third in their own Altamont Invitational Tournament. In pool play, the Indians beat Vandalia 25-15, 25-14 before splitting with Nokomis 10-21, 21-16 and Heritage 15-21, 25-23. That would put Altamont into a crossover match against Cerro Gordo with the Lady Indians falling short 17-25, 11-25 to put them into the third place match. Altamont get a 25-13, 22-25, 15-6 win over Armstrong for the win to take third place on the day. Altamont is now 2-4-2 on the season and will take on North Clay tonight at home.
