The South Central Cougars shut out the Ramsey Rams, 16-0, in a Friday night matchup under the lights at Lions Field in Kinmundy. After Ramsey went down in the top of the first on two strikeouts and a flyout, South Central was able to get one run across in the bottom of the first inning when Zane Montes scored on a steal of home. Ramsey would again be held scoreless on three straight strikeouts in the top of the second inning before South Central would bust the game wide open in the bottom of the second, taking advantage of several walks and a couple errors to push 13 runs across for a 14-0 lead.
