Our Baseball Moment of the year was South Central’s win over Father McGivney. At the time of the game, South Central had been scuffling just a bit while Father McGivney came in undefeated on the year. At Lion’s Field in Kinmundy, South Central picked up a 4 to 2. Aidan Dodson went 6 2/3 IP, 6 Hits, 2 Runs and struck out 14 batters to get the win. This marked South Central’s 2nd ever win over Father McGivney–with the other, of course, being in the Class 1A State Championship game in 2021.
