Altamont soon-to-be Senior Grace Nelson has been working to get back from a knee injury and get ready for her Senior season. Grace says it has been tough to not be able to get out there during the summer basketball games.
But, Grace says it’s given her a great opportunity to be around her teammates, just in a little different capacity.
Grace Nelson got to play in just 13 games during her Junior year before suffering the injury, but was averaging better than 31 points per game at that point. The Illinois State University commit comes back for her Senior year with new Lady Indians coach Craig Carr at the helm.
