Accident on Interstate 70 has east bound interstate shut down

Vandalia Police Chief Jeff Ray reports there is a multi-car accident on Interstate 70 eastbound and there are multiple helicopters on the scene.  Chief Ray the interstate is currently shut down and they are re-routing traffic at the 63 mile marker and traffic will be going through Vandalia.
