One day after getting a walk-off win at home, Vandalia fell on the road as Southwestern got the walk-off win over the Vandals 6-4 on Friday. Vandalia would get on the scoreboard first in the game as Aiden Politte would reach base on an error in the top of the second to score Carson Lotz from second for a 1-0 lead. The Vandals then gave up two runs in both the third and fourth inning to trail the Birds 4-1.
