
anice Jean Kirk, 94, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Fillmore, IL, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at SBL Fayette County Hospital LTC in Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Grace Fellowship Church, Fillmore, IL with Pastor Myron Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Liberty Church, Bingham, IL and/or Grace Fellowship, Fillmore, IL. Janice was born May 12, 1928, in Fayette County, IL, the daughter of Ernie & Opal Sadie (Meyer) Carter. She married William Joseph “Joe” Kirk on September 27, 1946, in Hillsboro, IL. He passed away on March 9, 2011. She was homemaker and affiliated with the Fillmore United Methodist Church and Liberty Church, Bingham, IL.
