South Central held Brownstown-St. Elmo to just one hit as the Cougars beat the Bombers 8-0 on Thursday. South Central took an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and added two more in the fourth and three in the fifth inning for the 8-0 win. Coen West got the win on the mound for the Cougars going 4 innings, giving up just one hit and recording 5 strikeouts. Calin Chandler had the only hit in the game for the Bombers. South Central is now 6-0 on the season while BSE drops to 1-3.
