Illinois House Passes Bill Banning Declawing Cats

(Springfield, IL) — Illinois is one step closer to making it illegal to declaw cats. Yesterday the Illinois House passed a bill that bans declawing cats. The measure passed by a 67-38 vote. The bill now heads to the Illinois Senate.

What are you thoughts on sales tax increase to help pay for a new Courthouse and Jail?

On the April 1st Consolidated Election ballot, Fayette County Voters will be asked whether or not they are in favor of a 1% sales tax increase for the next 35 years to help pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail.
