(Chicago, IL) — A trial is underway for the so-called ComEd four. Michael McClain, Anne Pramaggiore, John Hooker, and Jay Doherty are all facing charges accusing them of conspiring to provide former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan associates with jobs and contracts with ComEd in exchange for favorable action in Springfield. The judge presiding over the case began questioning potential jurors yesterday. The judge also ruled that secret recordings made of Madigan and his allies may be released to the media after they are played for jurors.
