CHBC started off their second of the Dieterich Holiday Tournament with a win, but then suffered a tough loss in their afternoon game to go 1-1 on the second day of the tournament and wrap up pool play at 1-2. In their first game, CHBC got off to a quick start over Red Hill taking a 19-6 lead in the first and holding a 34-25 lead at halftime. The Bobcats would then outscore Red Hill 34-27 in the second half to close out the 68-52 win.
In their second game of the day, CHBC would battle National Trail Conference foe South Central and the two teams would be tied at 14-14 by the end of the first quarter. South Central would outscore CHBC 28-14 in the second as the Bobcats would trail 42-28 at halftime. CHBC would outscore the Cougars 22-17 in the third to close their deficit down to 9 points, but the two teams would each put up 18 points in the fourth and CHBC would fall 77-68. CHBC finishes pool play at 1-2 and will play in the tournament’s 7th place game on Wednesday at 2:30pm against Sullivan.
