The South Central girls basketball team continued their pattern of trading wins and losses back and forth so far this season, falling on the road at Greenville 66-35 on Wednesday afternoon. Brooklyn Garrett led South Central with 21 points in the game. The loss drops the Lady Cougars to 5-6 on the season. They will begin play in the Dieterich Girls Holiday Tournament on Monday, facing Newton at 4:00pm in their first game of pool play. They will then play their final two pool play games on Tuesday at 10:00am against Casey-Westfield and 1:00pm against Brownstown-St. Elmo.
