CHBC girls basketball suffered their first loss of the season, falling to Dieterich, 56-48, in the Championship game of their own CHBC Girls Thanksgiving Tournament. CHBC would trail Dieterich 8-7 at the end of the first quarter but would just outscore the Movin’ Marrons in the second quarter to pull even 25-25 at halftime. A rough third quarter in which the Bobcats would be held to just 5 points would have CHBC down 42-30 heading into the 4th quarter. Despite outscoring Dieterich 18-14 in the quarter, it was not enough as CHBC would fall 56-48. CHBC is now 5-1 on the season. After a couple of days off, they will get back into action on Tuesday at home as they will host Pana.
