The Vandalia and Greenville High School volleyball teams recently competed in their annual Volley for the Cure match at Vandalia High School. Each year, proceeds from the evening are donated to the host team’s choice of charity or organization. This year, the two teams raised $2827.50 at the annual match with the proceeds going to the Fayette County Cancer Fund. This week, Lady Vandals senior volleyball players Lauren Kaiser, Ellika Whiteman, Morgan Dagen, Delaney Kopp and Laviendar Abbott presented a check for the amount raised to Karen Sanders, a board member for the Fayette County Cancer Fund.
