Donald Harold Newton, 82, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, at his home in Vandalia, IL.

He was born June 9, 1940, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Harold G. & Margaret Frances (Raymann) Newton. He was a retired truck driver for Wells Fargo.
He is survived by: Daughter – Marsha Elder, Sullivan, IL; Grandchildren – Nicole Elder, Sullivan, IL and Jacob Elder, Alton, IL; Great Grand Child – Jordyn Schwartz; Sister – Diane Bauer & John, Bingham, IL; Nephews and Niece – Jason Rebbe, Joel Rebbe and Trisha Warren.
Preceded in death by: His Parents; and Brother-Gary.
