The South Central Cougars will face a very familiar foe today in the Louisville Regional Championship.
South Central comes into today at 17-12 on the season and they will face North Clay in the Regional Championship today at 4 pm. The rivals have played twice this spring, with South Central beating the Cardinals 3 to 2 on April 16th and falling to them in their very next game, 7 to 1, on April 19th.
The winner will move onto the Effingham St. Anthony Sectional at Paul Smith Field in Effingham to play Okaw Valley at 4 pm on Wednesday. If South Central wins, it would be a second straight year matching up with Okaw Valley in the sectional semi-finals.
