Donald “Don” L. Manley, 90, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Odin Health Care Center, Odin, IL.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at McInturff Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Unity Baptist Church and/or Fayette County Humane Society. Born March 9, 1931, in Fayette County, IL, the son of David Edward & Nettie Beatrice (Guthrie) Manley. Married Betty Florence Barnett on June 4, 1955, in Vandalia, IL. He had formerly employed with Johnson, Stephens, Shinkle Shoe Factory, Crane Packing, and South Central FS. Don was a US Army Veteran, Stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict; and member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL.
Survived by: Wife – Betty Manley, Ramsey, IL; Son – Gary Manley & Christy, Vandalia, IL; Daughter – Nancy Manley Stephens, Nokomis, IL; Grandchildren – Michele Orsborn & Jeremy, Arika Craig and Aaron Manley; Great Grandchildren – Landon and Jaxon Orsborn.
Preceded in death by: His Parents; 7 Brothers; and 3 Sisters.
