The CHBC girls basketball team started off the second half of the season the same way they ended it, with another win, beating Dieterich 57-35 on the road Tuesday night. The win was the third time this season that CHBC has beaten Dieterich with the first coming in the Championship game of the CHBC Girls Thanksgiving Tournament and the second coming just last week at Dieterich’s own holiday tournament. CHBC is now 15-1 on the season and 4-0 in the NTC. They will be off until Monday when they return home to take on North Clay in another NTC matchup. The evening will be a special one for the Bobcats as they will honor longtime girls basketball coach Carolyn Wendte who recently retired after a long career that saw CHBC finish in the top 4 at the Class 1A State Tournament three times.
