
Richard “Rick” K. Nalley, Jr., 59, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Private Family Services will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Bruce Sasse officiating. Burial will follow at Farmers Cemetery, Rural Shobonier, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, October 18, 2021, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: To the Family and/or KVS Sportsman’s Club. He was born January 20, 1962, in Lafayette, IN, the son of Richard Keith Sr. & Rita (Wood) Nalley. Married Kris Carmen on February 10, 1984, in Vandalia, IL. He worked as a Truck Driver at Teamster Local 50 and the Owner/Operator of the Sportsmen’s Boutique in Vandalia, IL. Rick was a member of Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447; and KVS Sportsman’s Club of Keyesport, IL. Rick loved working at the Sportsmen’s Boutique. He was a loyal Union Member and enjoyed bird hunting, loved bird dogs, guns, fishing and trap shooting, trips to the beach, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by: Wife – Kris Nalley, Vandalia, IL; Sons – Zachary Nalley & Stacie and Jacob Nalley & Ashley, all of Vandalia, IL; and 2 Grandchildren – Olivia and Everlee, at home.
