After a two year wait, the Fayette County Fair has new royalty. Miley Worker was named the 2021 Miss Fayette County Fair Queen at Monday evening’s pageant. Worker is a recent graduate of Vandalia High School and is also a former Little Miss and Jr. Miss Fayette County Fair queen. And, Worker says being able to now represent the fair as a three-time queen is an honor.
And of being crowned Miss Fayette Fair Queen 7 years after her older sister Sierah (Ruffner) Hanna held the honor, Worker says it is a blessing.
2021 Miss Fayette County Fair first runner-up is Anna Kramer, a recent South Central High School graduate while Brenna Hayes of Ramsey was named the second runner-up. Kramer was also named Miss Congeniality, Worker was also named Most Photogenic and Reagan Walker of St. Elmo was the People’s Choice Award winner.
Also crowned on Monday evening was the new Little Miss Fayette County Fair Queen. Mabry Booher of St. Elmo is the 2021 Little Miss Fayette County Fair Queen. Andi Schmid of Vandalia was named first runner-up while Laekyn Worker of Vandalia was named second runner-up. Sloan Durbin was the People’s Choice Award winner.
The rest of this year’s fair royalty will be crowned tonight as the Jr. Miss and Future Miss pageant will be held at 7pm at the Fayette County Fair.
