The USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture has provided the Fayette County Emergency Management Agency with free pet food to distribute to the residents of Fayette County. Fayette County EMA and Fayette County Farm Bureau will be holding a PET FOOD PANTRY this afternoon from 4-6pm at Vandalia Distribution Warehouse 1100 West Randolph (entering from Elm Street across from Vandalia City Garage). More on Ambulance Service--Are you Open to a Tax to help support it?
In our most recent poll, the vast majority of individuals voted they were either very concerned or somewhat concerned that Fayette County does not currently have a contract with an ambulance service—-It has been discussed that some kind of support may be needed to help an ambulance service survive in Fayette County. Would you be open to approving some type of funding (perhaps a sales tax increase) to help pay for ambulance services in Fayette County?
