Three high schools will kick off graduation time in the area with their commencement ceremonies this Saturday and Sunday.
St. Elmo High School will hold high school graduation on Saturday morning at 10:30am with the ceremony being held outdoors in front of the school’s gymnasium, weather permitting. If the ceremony would have to be moved inside, each graduate will be allowed seven people for the ceremony. There will also be a parade leaving from the high school after the ceremony and traveling around town. A graduate can be contacted for the exact parade route. During the ceremony, Hailey Wright will be honored as the SEHS Class of 2021 Valedictorian while Ean Forbus will be honored as Salutatorian.
Brownstown High School will hold its high school graduation on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm. There ceremony will be held in the gymnasium with masks required and social distancing. This year’s BHS valedictorian to be honored during the ceremony is Cassi Payne and the salutatorian to be honored is McKenzie Fisher.
Ramsey High School will hold its high school graduation on Sunday afternoon at 3pm in the RHS gymnasium. Each graduating student is allotted 8 tickets each for guests for the ceremony. This year’s RHS Valedictorians are Brooke Benhoff, Addison Eddy, Chloe Hill, Brenna Hayes and Matthew Lay and this year’s Salutatorian is Melany Challens.
Vandalia, Mulberry Grove, South Central and Greenville will all hold their high school graduation ceremonies next weekend.
