(Springfield, IL) — A new task force is set to decide the fate of statues at the Illinois State House. Speaker Chris Welch announced the overhaul of Statehouse artwork Wednesday, creating the Statue and Monument Review Task Force. The task force will determine what should be removed, replaced, or added to the Statehouse.
