
State Representative Darren Bailey is said to be doing well after collapsing on Sunday at the Bank of Springfield Convention Center, which is hosting the lame duck session for the Illinois General Assembly. Bailey was wheeled out of the center on Sunday after experiencing a medical issue during the House Floor debate. According to Representative Bailey’s website, Bailey “experienced a minor medical issue today during proceedings of the Illinois House of Representatives.” “Rep. Bailey fainted but is now doing well and being treated at a local hospital. He is looking forward to returning to work as soon as possible.”
