A Lakewood, Colorado pair were arrested over the weekend and have been charged in Fayette County Court with multiple felony counts for methamphetamine possession with intent to deliver and possession of controlled substance. 62-year old Robert E. McManigle and 64-year old Janice L. Israel are each charged with one count of unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine over 15 grams and under 100 grams, a Class X felony punishable by 6 to 30 years in prison, one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams, a Class 1 felony punishable by 4 to 15 years in prison. The two are also charged with three counts each of unlawful possession of controlled substance, Class 4 felonies punishable by one to three years in prison. McManigle and Israel each made an appearance in court on Monday via Zoom and were admonished on the charges, Probable cause was found to detain both and bond for each was set at $30,000. Israel has been appointed public defender William Starnes while Israel has been appointed conflict public defender Keith Jacob. McManigle will make his first appearance with counsel on Thursday, September 3 at 11am while Israel will maker her first appearance with counsel on September 8 at 11am.
