A Vandalia man was sentenced to 4 years in prison. The Fayette County State’s Attorney’s Office says that 35 year old Bruce Gray of Vandalia pleaded guilty this past week to charges of Residential Burglary and Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Gray was sentenced by Judge Kimberly Koester to 48 months, to be served in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

On the April 1st Consolidated Election ballot, Fayette County Voters will be asked whether or not they are in favor of a 1% sales tax increase for the next 35 years to help pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail.
