A Vandalia man has been sentenced to 1 year in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
60 year old Homer Etcheson of Vandalia pleaded guilty to the offense of Driving While License Revoked and was sentenced by Judge Kimberly Koester to 12 months in prison.
Doctors warn that the loss of one hour of sleep for the switch to Daylight Saving Time may cause some various health issues including disrupted sleep, an increased chance of heart attacks and strokes and even lead to an uptick in traffic accidents.
