A St. Elmo woman was sentenced to time in the Department of Corrections in Fayette County Court. The Fayette County State’s Attorneys Office says 29 year old Megan E. Duckworth of St. Elmo voluntarily was dismissed from the Problem Solving Court and was sentenced to 2 years for the offense of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. That sentence will be served consecutive with another case in which the State’s Attorneys Office says Duckworth was sentenced to 2 years for Forgery. Judge Kevin Parker presided over the case.
