JENNIFER LAY TO LEAD FNB RAMSEY
The First National Bank has named Jennifer Lay as the new branch manager at the Ramsey facility. Lay’s banking career began at the Ramsey State Bank in 1987. She was promoted to assistant cashier in 1993. Jennifer was part of the transition to the First National Bank family in 1994, becoming a loan officer in 1995, and later an assistant vice president.
She replaces her husband, Steve, who recently retired from FNB Ramsey. Jennifer believes the transition to branch manager will be easy citing her “wonderful team and a great mentor in Steve.” She added, “Customer service is a big part of The First National Bank and I plan to keep that as our main objective.” She is also committed to The First National Bank’s hometown people with hometown philosophy. “I love that the bank supports the community by donating to many local projects and functions,” she noted.
Mike Radliff, FNB president and CEO, said, “Jen has been involved in bank office management, lending and compliance at The FNB and we are happy that she has accepted the management role.”
Born in Riverside, California, she moved to Ramsey in 1986. Jennifer is a member of CAPSS (Community and Parents Supporting Schools) and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She is also a volunteer at the Ramsey Community Sale. Jennifer has three children: Allison, Michael, and Matthew. Her parents, Don and Mary Frailey, live in Herrick.
The First National Bank was founded in Vandalia in 1865 and now has branches in Ramsey, Patoka, Mulberry Grove, and Greenville.
