The City of Vandalia took time during Monday’s meeting to announce the winners of the local business awards for this year. The program, in it’s first year and brought forth by Economic Development Director Amber Daulbaugh, brought out a big crowd for Monday’s City Council Meeting. Mayor Gottman says they are very excited to bring this program forward.

Community Business Involvement of the Year–State Farm Agent Clint Simpson
Female owned Business of the Year-Sue Holliday for Hohlt & File Funeral Home
Veteran owned Business of the Year-Mark Meadows of Pro Wire
Non-Profit Group of the Year-Tamela Polanin for Lighthouse Pregnancy Center
Economic Impact Business of the Year-Anita Gottman for Iya’s and Friends
