Alice L. Doyle, 99, of Saint Elmo, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Aperion Care in St. Elmo, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 7, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, December 7, 2018, at the funeral home. Memorials: Aperion Care Activity Fund St. Elmo, and/or Southern Illinois Hospice. She was born June 22, 1919, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Thomas James & Cora (Break) Kelly. Married Anthony Frederick Doyle on March 4, 1949, Vandalia, IL, he passed away October 20, 1979. She was a Homemaker and the last member of the Harmony Club, Ramsey, IL.
She is survived by: Sons – Fred Doyle, Brownstown, IL, John Doyle, Shobonier, IL, and Tim Doyle and Ellen, Ramsey, IL; Daughters – Marcia Torbeck and Bob, Shobonier, IL, Karen Matuszewski and Ted, Granville, TN, and Rhonda Phillips and Jon, Vandalia, IL; 14 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; and 2 Grandchildren – Tony & Ryan Doyle.
