The extreme heat and humidity will remain with us today—-with not a whole lot of a break in sight. We’ll see mostly sunny skies today with a high of 95. Heat Index Values for today are expected to reach as high as 109. State Climatologist Jim Angel says he warns everyone about outdoor activities and making sure you get enough water. Angel says he has experienced heat stroke.
We’ll then see mostly clear skies tonight with a low of 74. An Excessive Heat Warning currently remains in effect until 10 pm.
