The Fayette County Board took time during its monthly meeting Tuesday night to recognize the Fayette County Jail for a feat achieved during its most recent inspection. Board member Jenny Waggoner presented Fayette County Jail Administrator Bryan Glidden with a plaque recognizing Glidden and staff of the Sheriff’s Department for receiving a perfect score on its most recent inspection. The Illinois Department of Corrections’ Jail and Detention Standards Unit conducts the inspections on an annual basis.
